The Chaplin Democratic Town Committee will sponsor a Tag Sale at the former Chaplin Post Office at the corner of Chaplin Street and Route 198 in Chaplin. Baked goods will also be sold. In case of rain, the Tag Sale will be held at the Community Center of the Senior Center, 132 Chaplin St. Donations of goods (but no clothing, please) are welcomed, but must be received by Friday, Aug. 22. Someone will be at the Post Office on the 22d from noon to 5 p.m. to receive donations or call 455-0066 to make other arrangements. We can also pick up goods if necessary.
